Meet BadgerSet

BadgerSet is an eleven-strong band of folk singers, musicians and dancers - five married couples plus one daughter.

Most of the male participants were, originally, members of local morris dance club The Mendip Morris Men. Some evenings, after practice or a public performance, we found we really enjoyed a ‘session’ - singing or playing music for our own enjoyment. Occasionally we were joined by family members and it was the fun we had in doing this together that led to the idea of BadgerSet.

What firmly characterises our performances is an unmistakeable level of energy, enthusiasm and talent to which we add imaginative arrangements and creative harmonies plus the occasional spot of comedy.
