What to Expect

At our concerts we present a wide range of British folk-based songs, tunes and dances. Folk music, though, is not just about strumming guitars.

Between us Badgerset can boast expertise on no fewer than seventeen different instruments from the harmonica to the bass.

Blown, bowed, beaten, plucked and squeezed, their combination provides the perfect accompaniment to the songs and a solid foundation to the traditional tunes. But listeners must always be prepared to expect the unexpected!

Such is the popularity of our famous Christmas concerts we have been asked to add another venue to our programme. This year the dates are:

Friday 6 December at St Mary's Church, Hutton,

BS24 9SN,

Saturday 7 December at St James' Church Centre, 52 Woodborough Road, Winscombe BS25 1BA and

Friday 13 December at All Saints' Church, Clevedon BS21 6AU.

All concerts start at 7.30pm.
